Pathway Care Group, one of the UK's leading fostering agencies, with offices in Bromsgrove serving the Midlands and Birmingham honoured its foster carers with a celebratory lunch and awards ceremony to recognise their achievements.

Joyce Masson Director of Pathway Care Midlands said  "Our carers provide high quality care to many of the region's most vulnerable children and the anniversary celebration is an opportunity for us to recognise their hard work and professionalism. It's also an opportunity to highlight to others considering fostering, that Pathway Care is an agency that carers stick with, this is due to many reasons, like our rigorous matching procedures and ongoing training but most of all it's the level of support that we offer our carers that time and time again is quoted as the main reason why carers choose to remain with us. All our carers offer an invaluable service, helping children and young people from difficult backgrounds to rebuild their lives for the better and it's great to be able to thank them."

"We want to hear from existing foster carers and those who are considering fostering for the first time. We especially need foster carers from the Birmingham area to look after babies, sibling groups, older children and teenagers. Apart from a spare room to be a good foster carers you need good listening skills, a great sense of humour and high energy levels."
