Pathway Care, one of the UK's leading fostering agencies, will have a stand at the event and will be keen to listen to potential foster carers who are at the point in their lives where they are ready to change direction and do something different with their lives.
More than 5,000 people attended last year's event, which sadly reflected the impact of the recession on the West Midlands. Last year's event, hosted by Job Centre Plus and Birmingham City Council, was primarily aim at redundant workers from the LDV factory as well as other people seeking employment.
Joyce Masson, Regional Director said "For anyone interested in pursuing a new career, whether as a result of redundancy or as a complete career change, fostering can offer an ideal career choice." She added " We're always looking for existing carers or new foster carers from all backgrounds, regardless of gender, marital status, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
More people are realising that fostering offers a rewarding career, flexibility and competitive salary."
